2712/JN - Benchtop X-ray Diffractometer

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering's X-ray Diffraction (XRD) Small Research Facility is one of the UK's leading lab-based diffraction facilities. It houses state-of-the-art equipment essential to the characterisation of a wide array of solid state materials, including oxide materials (e.g. electroceramics, cements and refractories), metals and glasses, in both powder and bulk form.
